I've had a bit of fun the last few weeks working on two smaller projects.
My Mom asked for something to brighten up the space above her fireplace. I made this wall hanging for her based on a pattern from Bobbie G. Designs.
The other piece is my first Irish Chain - I tried to use more masculine fabrics since it is a lap throw for my Dad. The bigger border is actually a blend of rust and black - but in some light - it takes on a dark blue tint.
