So I finally have a day off from work and I spent all day so far sewing. This one is going to be for my father so he stops stealing my mother's quilt off the upstairs sofa, lol! I have two blocks done so far, they take pretty long to do, and I have seven more to do. The backing is black flannel with red orange and yellow electric guitars on it, I think it's going to look pretty cool :)

I like bright colours and I chose the backing first, so I had to go with colours from there. It's a bit loud, but I like it :)

Not really a musician, but he's learning.
For a really long time he kept asking to borrow one of my guitars, and I either kept forgetting or didn't really want to lend one of my good ones, so I bought him his own last year for his birthday. He's been learning since then and he's gotten really good on his own. It's not exactly an easy instrument to learn, either, trust me. I only wish I had started as a kid.
