She died when I was 6 (a long, long time ago!) most of the numerous tops she left behind have been dispersed but this is one that that my mom gave me recently and I f, oops, quilted and bound it. The next time I visit Mom I plan to take pictures of the ones she has left.

I like the big pattern and the bright colors.......she had a flair for color.

all pieced no applique, this was scraps from backings and sashings from other quilts

Thats a lovely quilt Kathy. You've done a beautiful job of finishing it. Isn't it wonderful to have something that they have worked on, especially after they have gone. Brings them that little bit closer to us. I'm sure she'd be really pleased to know that you finished her quilt for her and that someone still values and appreciates her work :P

Very nicely done. Isn't it great to have a quilt that your Grandmother made. I have one that my Grandma made and it means the world to me. I'm sure that she is looking down and smiling. Thanks for sharing.

That is beautiful. I love the big pattern. I don't think i've ever seen a quilt with such a big pattern. Very nice! You've done an excellent job finishing it!

Very nice, it's great that it is a scrap quilt with pieces from some of her other work, that way you have a piece of more than one of her projects (don't know if that sounds right - I hope you kwim).

It's so colorful!

My sister got to do that for a great-grandmother's quilt. It is, I believe, the only real quilting she's done. She was worried about the begining stitch lengths-- I was impressed she was doing it in the first place!

I am greatful to her for helping to finish this treasure, and I love the idea of generations sharing in it!
