Here is my take on bug jar quilt...making three for my three girls...this is the first one ..still need sashing but wanted you to see how i`m coming along...i really love how it is turning out. I made all the jars different so was slow going as I had to measure each square as i went...the other two are partly done...thy will be similar but with different colored backgrounds..hope you like!

I like your quilts. I've had fabric collected up to make some but just never have. Your different jars is unique!

I definitely agree with GrannieAnnie. The different sized jars and even the one on its side makes it all stand out from so many of the other bug jar quilts. Good job! The girls are gonna love them.

These are lovely and fun. Someone took one of your jars and just left the lid (laughter). I love the way you made different sizes and put some on their side, etc. Nice work. Thank you for sharing.

really cute! I like the different size jars too.

jdiane318 04-06-2011 09:13 PM

I like the variety and uniqueness of the jars plus using light colors really makes the jars' contents pop out. You should do a tutorial on your quilt with the measurements for each different jar section. Pretty impressive.

Really nice! I like how all the jars are different, especially the one that's on it's side. Hope there aren't bees in that one!
