I have a grandaughter in TX that would love one of those "buggy" quilts. She got into serious trouble in kindergarten thanks to her "buglove". She insisted on bringing them into the classroom from recess and then getting VERY upset when told she had to take them back out and let them go.

Love your jar quilt. At our guild we had an exchange of bug fabric. I have the jars sewn, but haven't started on the quilt. Your quilt has given me inspiration to get going! Thanks for sharing!

Marcia_PA 04-19-2011 06:05 AM

Love them. I should start collecting some fabric for my 18 month old grandson. By the time he is old enough to love them, I should have enough fabric :-)

3TreeFrog 04-19-2011 06:19 AM

I have been collecting bugs for a long time; just no little ones to make them for now. I love the one with the lid off... & the fish bowl too. The variety adds interest! Thanks for sharing.

I'm a real stinker! I'd applique a large critter or two walking down the quilt from that open jar!! I'd have to! I couldn't stand not to! LOL!
