I think once you get a few more blocks done and layed out together you will like it a lot better. I've made blocks that I felt "iffy" about and then once I did several more, really liked them. Occasionally I've run across some that after 4 I said okay, I was right, I don't like it but you really need at least four blocks done before you decide. Or at least that's my hho. Absolutely you should go with it! I agree with the posters who hva suggested doing a few more blocks and putting them all together. You'll be surprised at the outcome!

I ended up giving 9 of my blocks to my friend who absolutely loved them and kept 4 of them for myself... I will email the finished product soon.... Thank you all so much for all the comments.... This is the first project I ended up not liking enough to finish.... hope it is the last... :) Be back soon...
