It looks cute without the rickrack. If you need to use it then i would have to put it on the inside. Either way you did a great job. :thumbup:

grm33, sorry, I got the Easter egg fabric in a trade, I have no idea who makes it but it is craft quality, I don't mind using that for a wallhanging. casual quilter, the pattern was free. a link was posted here on the site. if you search for Esther the Easter Chicken it should come up.

I agree, rick rack on the inside seam, it shows up better there.

I really like the rick rack, especially around the chickenwire. It finishes the wire. Very cute chicken and good idea about fussy cutting the eggs, they are very bright.
