I think it will be very pretty. I made a OBW with alot of colors and I'm not wild about it. The next one will be 3 colors. The blocks come out alot nicer IMHO! Go for it!

Oh this will be a beautiful Obw quilt. good choice.

I think it will be beautiful. To check you could set up a couple of mirrors to get the effect of the kaleidoscope design. It does look like a fairly long repeat, so you will need quite a bit of the fabric for 6 (or 8) repeats.

I meant to add - if it's a vintage fabric, and if it has been washed (or needs to be) you might have a problem. It's recommended that the fabric for a OBW not be pre-washed. That makes it easier to line up the design elements in the layers.

Yes, yes, double yes!!!! And like dunster said, hold up a couple of mirrors. But I think it is safe to say yesssss!!!!

That should work well. What size are the flowers? Be sure to cut your strips slightly smaller so that you really chop into them. Have you got the book?

It has been washed. Since I have a reaction to the chemicals in fabrics everything hits the washer before I even handle it to any great extent.

I think if I go with a solid colour it would be green not a big fan of pink for some reason. My room is green and I really Need to make a quilt for my bed.

No book. Using the tutorial on the board and my regular ruler.
