Your quilt is gorgeous and that's a great idea to use a colouring book for templates..

I think it is dgreat. I have make quilts for the new additions to the family for many years now and I think this one is wonderful. I have thought about using coloring books for patterns and now I see how well they will work.

It is perfect. The only thing I would have done differently FOR ME is added that darker purple block border as a small outside, but only because I like a lot of contrast :)

I would put a border of the purple that is framing the blocks. That way the whole quilt will look framed as well. Otherwise, that is one adorable quilt. I love everything about it.
