Question: Does it not need to be cross quilted? Looks like vertical quilted only. Sometimes I don't understand quilting requirements...

Orange is not one of my favorite colors. However, your quilt is wonderful. Wonderful colors and wonderful pattern. I need to rethink my thoughts about orange. Thanks for the help in doing so nand thanks for sharing.

I don't know the name of the quilt. I saw it on Penterest and I cut 3 1/2"squares with 1 1/2" strips of the color and the light by looking at the picture you can see how it is sewn. Start with the color strip so that the light is sewn on last. I'm sorry. I don't have more information, but maybe this will help.
