Gonna do one of them string quilts myself...right after I finish princess quilt, care bear quilt, castle quilt, fishy quilt...make a dress and jacket....oh, ticket for talking too much in public...but, but.......bring my stash to the poky y'all....

I am so anxious to be done with ugh, "Princess quilt"...although it is for a cutie pie..and she has seen it...she likes it very much...I can't wait to do something that comes out straight.
I had to improvise with this one, bc panels got stretched early on, I guess, and I didn't know. Was looking good to me, till I tried to put rows together.
I can make clothes all day long, but this has been a learning experience. Next quilt is definitely going to be done by a pattern. Let it be somebody else's fault, lol! I feel like just hopping off schedule and making a string quilt just to soothe myself that I can do something that's not all whopperjawed and wonky. Not that I think any of it is easy. I digress, shh! :wink:

My string quilt is really whopperjawed and wonky but my son loves it anyway - you have such a great way with words! :D
