I have one or two more stars to do on the black quilt and I just received 5 more yards of the black fabric that needs to be washed. I'm at a standstill on the Prairie Star quilt because I am waiting on some dark fabrics. I have ALL of the pieces cut for the background color, 4 yards worth.

That will be one lovely quilt!

That will be a keepsake quilt.

very pretty!!!!

I have a Jacqueline de Jonge pattern, and it looks a lot like Judy Neimeyer. I LOVE your color pallette. Surprised you don't have orange where the red is in the pattern. I would use the blue. It is very pretty!!

Oh, wow. That pattern looks ambitious. Good luck and have fun with your fabric. Thanks for sharing.

Love the color choices!! It will look beautiful against the orange wall!!

I think these colors will be great. I am going to start a quilt for a friend that has blues, browns and white on white. He wants stars so I am looking at patterns that will still look masculine. I will like yours better than the pattern picture. Be sure to post as you go along so we can see your progress. Are you living in Pittsburg, CA as we are originally from the Bay Area and lived in Antioch for six months or so. We had moved to the Sierra Mtns. from the Bay Area but my dh was a firefighter in Danville/San Ramon for 37 years. Just wondering is all!! Piece and blessings, Vicki

I have done numerous J. Niemeyer patterns, but have yet to attempt a de Jonge pattern - but I do have one - so that's a start. Your quilt will be fabulous! I think you should throw in a bit of orange, just for a zinger!

That is going to be amazing
