This is the other version of SB Sue that is not finished yet...
I sew with a little group at our church and hopefully I will get to work on it tomorrow...will send a pic of the finished quilt...

Both SBSue quilts are sooooo cute. I love them both. What a lot of work you have done on them but so worth it. They are gorgeous.

Thanks to everyone...I really enjoy applique...it is sort of like painting with fabric and thread...instead of messy paint...but I also like painting too...

oh how darling. I wish I knew how to applique. It is tedious and I fall asleep easy. I sewed my finger the other night.....now ain't that sad??? As excited as I can get over all of your patterns and work, when I try.....ZZZZZzzzz

The pattern is a book titled Sunbonnet Sue all thru the year...I am attaching a pic of the front of the book...It is now out of print but you can sometimes find one on the internet...just type in the name of the book and search..

I love SBS too. I have a pattern for the PErils of SunBonnet Sue, I have made only 1 block so far. It tells the story of Sue going on the ship with Capt Ahab. So you know down goes the ship, Sue in a life boat ,sharks, ice bergs. etc. Last one is Sue in a grass skirt on a deserted island. lol want to get back on it some day. but I also want to do the DJ with this group. Jolo
