Thankyou for all your kind comments!! The Co- ordinator is retiring at the end of the year....her target was 800 quilts for the year. We have just taken her over her target!!!

So not only will these quilts make sure 45 youngsters have some comfort at difficult times, but the co-ordinator can retire with a smile on her face! Well done to you Hilary and all of the generous quilters who donated such lovely quilts for a very worthwhile cause! :)

I am sew touched by your generosity. I think your quilts are lovely. You have inspired me to look in to the Linus Project and maybe make a quilt or two for them.

Thankyou!! All sizes of quilts are acceptable....from tiny quilts for premature babies to larger quilt for teenagers!! They don't have to be fancy! We did some that were just 5" squares stitched together...simply quilted....just as effective!! They like bright colours for young children's quilts!! They are always short of quilts suitable for teenage boys!! The co-ordinator told us she had a beautiful 'manly' quilt donated and was thrilled.....till she turned it over and found it backed with......FLOWER FAIRIES!!!! :). Ok using scraps...but need to be appropriate!!
