This is my ggd 3rd birthday present. She is in Oregon and Gramma was going to the party (from California) it had to have it's own bag (security at air port won't allow for wrapping anymore) so I made it a matching bag. It can be used for storage later on and maybe for traveling to Gramma's house.

Thank you all for the your most encouraging and kind comments but, it is not me who get to go the birthday party it's our daughter (Grandma). Sorry for the misunderstanding ----but I sure would like to be there. So I stayed home and helped my friend rip out a row of messy quilting instead. It is always more fun when there are two of you, at least you have someone to vent to, she always calls me when there is ripping to do. Again thank you

It almost looks like there are hearts and flowers in the quilting. Beautiful. So glad you mentioned that bit about wrapped gifts through airport security. I'll remember that one. You had such a great idea, making a matching bag and it's the perfect gift bag.
