On another board, a group of us volunteered to post a block of our choice monthly since last June. So 12 blocks now completed, and here are mine. I haven't yet decided on sashing/borders etc. but I wanted to show you that I really do quilt!!! LOL

That fabric is so cool. Those tiny checks create a flickering effect. I don't know how else to describe it. Very cool. ;-)

Thanks also for the idea. I'm going to start making a block a month starting in June.

I like the checked fabric - makes the blocks look unique, and give them some "sizzle".
