...the cardinal. This is a wallhanging I won at a silent auction last month. The Rotary Club holds an elimination dinner every year at the high school, and we attend. It was made by a man--see label. The leaves are glued to the background. The pictures are printed on fabric.

Thanks ladies! There was a bunch of other goodies thrown in with this wall hanging at the auction. I also got a bunch of large double fish hooks, and about 20 different kinds of artifical baits without hooks, some old fishing line, etc. lol! Now, I do like to go fishing, but these aren't my typical kinds of bait. I guess the kids will have fun playing with the worms. (I like the purple Kelley worms!). Hey, who knows!? I may try them and catch a mess!  Anyway, I would've paid what I paid without the baits...

AND...my Mom would take this because she loves birds, especially cardinals, but she doesn't like anything on her walls, barely even pics...and that's just because I'm always giving her a new one of the kids...Now, it if would fit her bed, it would be mine no more!

That's really neat. I wonder if he took the photos too??

What a great win! I love Cardinals. As of this week, we have them nesting in the evergreen by our front door!

Wow what a stunning quilt! It came out so beautiful. I love your fabric choices. The cardinals look so life-like. I love this bird, in fact I am making a stained glass lamp shade with a red cardinal on it. Penny |
Wow! That's gorgeous! :)

John:
I went fresh water fishing in a lake/resouver in Northern NJ and there was a spill way running under the road. I use to fish there all the time but could only catch crappies and carp but still fun. Well one morning went there and small mouth bass were running in schools from one end of the spill way to the other side of the lake. I had nothing but some purple gummy bear type worms with the squiggley tail. So I threw that on a hook and ended up catching 4 small mouth bass from 3 to 5 pounds. Wow what a morning that was!! I actually had to throw some back because of the limit on the number you could take. So give those worms a shot, you never know. Penny |
So pretty. Lucky you to get it.

how lucky are you? you not only won a beautiful quilt, but your state bird is the cardinal.

How lovely!! And how nice that mountain men
are masculine enough to do whatever hobbies they want. I was born and raised just down the road a ways in Milton. Sure is a small world with the magic of the Internet. |
