Kay Quilts had asked for pictures of how I have quilted "Out of Darkness" quilts. I've had 2. Both asked for slightly different treatments, and by the time I did the one with the green thread, I had my Compuquilter. Just for the record - these would also look just fine with an edge-to-edge treatment.

Thankyou Shelley, this is stunning!. Did you stitch in the ditch around the pieced flowers and leaves? Did you do any sid in the centres of piecing of the flowers and leaves. I do appreciate the input of your experiance. Regards Kay.

On the first, I did SITD around the flowers and put yellow things in the middle. That customer basically said "Here's my budget - do whatever".

On the second, I did SITD but while McTavishing. that customer did not want any quilting in the centers. I really encouraged **some** quilting as some of the flowers were too big (IMHO) to leave unquilted.
