I posted pics of an autumn-themed lap quilt that I made a few weeks ago. As usual, I bought way too much fabric and had enough to do a second quilt. Just finished this afternoon.
I had requests for instructions for doing the corner block, so I took pics as I sewed this one and posted it under the tutorial section. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-158221-1.htm#4379016 The first quilt will be for a friend's retirement and the second will be for a second friend's Christmas gift. It's not Christmas themed, but matches her family room. The colors are a bit washed out - it's richer and more orange than it appears As usual, one of the cats had to help The first quilt, posted a few weeks ago |
Love the colors, beautiful quilt.

Both are just gorgeous!! I do love that corner block border treatment. Reminds me of a celtic knot. So kind of you to do a tutorial for it.
