I finished my son's kind-sized quilt the day after Christmas. He requested only blacks and whites. I think it turned out well and he liked it.

I think it would make a striking wall hanging.
Just today dh and I hung a challenge quilt I made several years ago. Feels good to have it on the wall. Now I want to make more real quilts to decorate my large walls. Even a triptych for the dining room ...wonder how long that will take from idea to finish? warm quilt hugs, sue in CA |

When I look at it it reminds me of a computerized section (in Quilt medium) of that beautiful painting "Starry Night"... it's kinda like a closeup pixel version of it's beautiful sky and stars. I really like it a lot.

I did this earlier this year and came across it today. I haven't quilted it yet. Wasn't sure just what to do with it! It's an odd size: 42 1/2" wide x 57" long. I could add a border but I think I'll just make it a wall hanging. I used Moda Marbles fabric and it just makes you want to touch it!
