Over the River....
 

and through the woods is a pattern by Crab Apple Hill Designs. I did the hand embroidery, and machine pieced and quilted this quilt on my Babylock Quest domestic machine. It will be staying with DH and I. All the fabrics except for the narrow, black border came from my stash. It's all set to hang, if I can just find the right place!

I used Valdani pearl cotton, a varigated black.

very nice job! when I made mine I did all of the embroidery in shades of blue then all the patch work in blues and fairy frost whites- it is one of my mom's favorite quilts! (of course each quilt I make her is her favorite :D) but this one seems to spend the whole winter on the bed. I keep thinking I should make another one, one of these days- seeing yours makes me really want to do it again...maybe in reds next time. :) I love yours following the pattern color scheme. great job!

I love that pattern!! You did a great job on the embroidery and piecing. Nice that most of it came from your stash. I have a different one of the designs to piece and embroider. Just need to do it!! I keep pulling UFO's out that need hand work and then get stuck so don't do anything! That is where I am on the Halloween Baltimore. I have some tiny spider bodies to applique and am scared to do it.

I just purchased a crab hill pattern to make a pillow with. I have the 4 four season blocks finished but have now sewn them up into a quilt.

I have this pattern and have collected all my black and white fabrics...just need to get started on it...maybe by Christmas...but it is on the project list...Love your color choice and the quilting is so beautiful...
