No I haven't followed any live owl web cams as yet, but thanks for the suggestion. I do support my local Owl Sanctuary with various bits to sell in their shop, and I get to see the owls and actually stroke some of them. It's a truly magical experience. They are for me spiritual birds. We as a family have adopted one and so sponsor him financially. If you have any good links perhaps you would kind enough to let me share.

That is just about the cutest thing I have EVER seen. Did you make your own owl templates, or did you use ones that you purchased or found in a magazine?? If so I would love to know the source of the patterns !!!

katkat1946 08-24-2012 04:40 AM

The webcams I'm most familiar with are on UStream. . You can just google UStream owls and will get several. Or google Owl Channel. That has some links. Another one to google is African potted plant owl. I started with "Molly" the owl two years ago, ended up being a moderator in the chat room, which sometimes had 200 people. I made friends from all over the world. It was amazing!!
