Quiltingboard Forums - A Package from my Sweet Sweet Mom Janet! :)

I wasn't sure about where I should post this but I just had to share what my sweet Mom did for me. Janetlmt knew that I didn't have a stash and she has been spoiling me since January since we did the January Doll Quilt Swap. She sent me a package that just left me speechless! She also sent me 4 quilt patterns and the Chemo Cap pattern so I can make some for a lady that my step-mom works with. I forgot to add them to the picture. I had them in my laptop case....I took them to work so I could look through them. :)

She sent me 37 different fabric, 2 glue sticks-had never used those before for sewing-going to love this, a spool of nice thread, a new 6 1/2" square ruler, she sent me 2 of the cutting blades-I was needing these!! A sweet lil card. She has just spoiled me and I had to share my package with you.

I have so enjoyed getting close to her since January. I know what her husband, both of her children and her little grand-daughter's names are. I know that she is a giver. She gives to everyone around her, friends and family both. I couldn't imagine getting to be around her every day. She is a ray of sunshine just through the computer-I can't imagine how she would be in person. If you know her you know what I'm talking about. She's always upbeat and such a positive person. My husband just mentioned the other day about how we hit it off. I told him it's like I've known her forever. Although I may bug her because I send her messages all the time. I just really enjoy chatting with her.
