Hi New Zealand!! I decided each shoe as I went along, penciled it on to a 12 inch square of fabric, and PAINTED it with fabric paint! Glad you liked it! I have a baby quilt to make next, but after that I am gonna tackle a flip flop quilt...
Now you have me a-sitting and a-wondering if it'll be a Painted Baby Quilt? ... with visions of Winnie the Pooh dancing thru my head! :)
No QuiltE, it really won't be a painted baby quilt!! Remember the piano quilt I made for my son's friend Taxi? Well, this is for his baby, who he is naming.....are you ready for this??? SKY Blue...
The quilt will be a very simple design and the center will be SKY BLUE with her name in the center of the flower....
EQ5 version is already done!!

That's the first shoe that I've seen like those. Very nice job. The colors are intense and the shoe likeness is so realistic. Wow
