I could be wrong, but I seem to remember her posting before and the shoes are actually painted, not fabric pieced. It is a great quilt isnt it?!

So get your paints, brushes and shoes out .... and start your masterpiece!

A few years ago I would have bought shoes and started painting them! Now unfortunately I can't even stand up in shoes like that. I am going to have to "try" a shoe quilt. Yours is really a work of art!
