Somewhere I have a pattern for a floor quilt that looks like a giant flower. It would be simple to make as the pieces are large. I think you could draw one out freehand on a large piece of paper or plastic and save the price of a pattern. Sometimes we just need to think outside the box. Like the paint canvas idea too.

do you wash it first? and doesn't the paint wash off ? I need to do this for couch covers as I have 4 dogs inside , and one is a lab. Thanks for the info on this.
