This quilt is a 'SWEET TWEET". Try saying that 3 times fast.
All kidding aside-it is delightful. |

Absolutely adorable! Love the colors and the theme.

It is so cute and adorable and panels are not cheating. You are still quilting them & binding them. I have one that was a panel and I took it apart sewed it back together in my own way and hand quilted it. No one knows this except for the others who I ordered the same fabric for at the same time. I got mine done & hanging in my family room, they did not even do anything with there's yet and it has been several years.

Thanks for the reassurance. I have a few panels in my collection that I have done nothing with. I should probably work on those. I have 3 dinosaur panels I got from a craigslist find. They are already sandwiched just waiting to be quilted and bound. I thought I would do those and donate them to linus. My mother in law and I bought a flynn frame at the Lancaster show and I'd really like to get that set up before I do anymore quilting. Does any one have a flynn? Do you like it? Any tips ?

I just love it! Sweet is all I can think..
Marvelous & fun quilt.
So cute and fun. I remember reading in a quilt mag. at one time a discussion about pro and con for hand stitching patches vs. machine piecing. The comment that stuck with me was that if the colonial and pioneer women had sewing machines available to them they would have used them. So I think when creating a quilt feel free to use anything available to create the item you want.

I like using them as donation quilts. They go fast and are greatly appreciated.
Darling little quilt! :)
So bright and happy!!
That is adorable and perfect for a lucky young lady.
I love that panel. I used a panel for my first quilt and I have used them since. Sometimes I have used the book panel and cut the pages apart to be put together with sashing.
I think any little girl (or big girl) would love to have that quilt. |
LOVE IT!!! How did you do the wavy black stop border? It almost looks like rick rack. I want to do that!!
Wonderful job, and panels can be fabulous, as you have just shown. Hugs, Amy in KY |
That would perk up a room.
I love this!!! I didn't know there was a panel, I would have grabbed that! I am using yardage of this print as the centers to giant cathedral windows for our new niece. I am putting it with a tiny pink gingham check, it's cute.
Very very cute!!!
I think it's adorable!!!
Adorable! I really like the way you put it together!
