Lost my son two years ago at he age of 33, he loved loved grateful dead and tie dyed shirts so I made a quilt of tye dyed materials. have it over the back of my couch and everytime I look at it I feel he is sometimes still here, best thing I did for myself although at the time I did it with tears rolling down my face.It is called Christophers quilt by everyone

Pansies are one of my favorite flowers, too...you've represented them well. Your sister would have loved it. A nice rememberance in her memory.

This is wonderful. I did the same thing..a bit of a memory quilt. After my mom died. The next baby in family, would have been her next great grandchild...had lots of daiseys in it...she loved daiseys. Good for you. Nice way to feel close.

Same here. I made my sister's chemo quilt and she used it only two months. It did help me to deal with the loss we were about to experience. She loved her quilt and mentioned several times how warm it made her feel while in "that cold place."
