Pantry Pads

Originally, I put the non-skid liners in the pantry. Didn't like them. Soooo, I whipped up quilted pads to fit, and I love them. Working on one level at a time and organizing as I go.

 Cool idea! You said they are quilted, please share what batting you have found to work well. Thanks for sharing!

TY for all the encouragement and complements. I use my regular warm and soft cotton batting. I also pieced some large pieces of batting scraps (for the first time). I didn't want to quilt fancy when it would be covered with cans of soup, so I straight lined at 45 degrees every 2 inches.
Yesterday, I was practicing FMQ on 10 inch squares to make into bowl cozies because the quilting won't be noticed when a light bulb came on. I'm gonna practice FMQ on future pads! I printed out a pattern, traced it with my eyes as I stitched it. I used https://www.quiltingmadeeasy.com/sti...sy/#gallery-10 |
