So cute

Very pretty. You really did a nice job. I love to paper piece. I don't like the tedious job of taking the paper off but enjoy the rest of the process.

Love your paper pieced place mats and the colors you chose. I am trying to make a king size bed quilt using paper piecing and off center pineapple block pattern. I really like paper piecing and I guess it's like everything else-you love it or hate it. You did a good job on your project.

I love your place mats, they are just beautiful! For not liking paper piecing, your sure gave it your best!

I love paper piecing, it is the only way I can get my points to come out right. I think it is like paint-by-number, only with fabric. ;-)

LOVE THEM and I love paper piecing. However, I dont like Carol Doak's paper at all. I use vellum, to me, there is a world of difference.

Fast trick - decrease the size of your stitches. I set my Bernina to about 1.2 to 1.5. Small stitches and a sharp needle make the paper removal a LOT easier. Also don't drive yourself nuts with trying to remove every little bit as long as you are going to wash the piece - the bits come off in the washing machine.

Those are beautiful, you did a fantastic job on them, I have not tried paper piecing yet, but up north gave me a pattern I want to try in the near future. It is to bad you don't like it, because your work is perfect. God bless. Penny

Thank You! I do all that & it isn't hard to take off. Just tedious. Anyone new to paper piecing will definetly benefit by this info though. I really love the way everything turns out. Almost perfect! LOL
