I made the birds for this board. You can use them. They are free patterns.
If you want more bird patterns you could buy my book; "Feathered Friends".
I would love to see them, when done :)

Joan, it's easy. Just need to take your time at it. If I can do it...ANYONE can!

I just bought your book from Amazon. Can hardly wait to get it. I made a wall hanging using some paper piecing patterns that I got off the internet several years ago when I first got interested in paper piecing. They were a lot of fun and I am hooked. I want to make a quilt for my son, who just purchased a sailboat and he is planning on living on it. In my mind the quilt will have some seagulls.

Thank you so much Jette, for sharing with us. I have your book and love to do paper piecing. It is so rewarding to see a completed piece with all the crisp points and detail! Thank you so much for sharing!

I have just made a lot of seeguls. They are used as a border on a paperpiecing that I made; The Fishermens village, where I was born. Right now it is on its way to a compatition, so I can´t show it :D :D :D
I will later. I made them 8 cm in high.
They are easy to do.
Perhaps your son will like them :?:

jette 04-04-2009 10:57 PM
