So this is my latest finished. It's a *belated* Christmas present for my boss who, obviously, loves green and Paris. I did a disappearing nine patch for the ease and quick work up. I then framed it with a finished 1" white border to give the eye some rest; then added a varying width piano key border. Added another finished 4" white border for some more rest for the eyes. The binding is scrappy...first time I've done that but I feel like it works here. The backing is green fleece that matched my fabric choices *perfectly because I always use fleece. I feel it's more cozy. It's handquilted in a cross-patch on the DP9 and i stitched 6 lines echo-style in the piano key border. I showed it to her unfinished and she was crying so I'm pretty excited to give it to her. Now to finish a few other things so I can get started on her baby quilt!!

I like it.. Did you know the term "Paris Green" refers to an arsenic based paint which used to be widely used in Paris?

Gorgeous quilt! I really love the colors you chose and admire you for handquilting a quilt to give away. Your boss will love and treasure it, that's for sure.

So beautiful! I love how the D9P looks so difficult, yet is so easy! And I am a fan of your borders!
