What a cute story. Your panel turned out so cute. Reminds me of when we were in Hawaii for our son's wedding and we had our picture taken with live parrots.

I had the same panel years ago and made a quilt for DH. He loves it still! I used an irridescent white thread for the waterfall. I couldn't find another panel to save my life at the time, haha! Yours is beautifully done!
