Abonda, here is your center with thee rounds. I struggled to figure out what to do after Roberts beautiful pieced and applique round, so I went for simple elegance. I absolutely love the striped fabric I used and hope you do too. Needs a good pressing.

That fabric is gorgeous very elegant. I love the way it ties it together.

Well I was looking on this site I came across the thread for a fidget blanket. It's for people with Alzheimer's and I thought what might be combining Dottys idea with something that we can all add to and then donate it. Maybe each time we start a new block we can make another one. It would be a great project that we can research as we make it. We can each make a square with a different thing on it. They can also be rectangles and then we will put it together. The biggest thing is to make it safe. Look at my bookmarks and you will see the thread it has links for lots of websites.

I think that is a great idea,my mom has AlZhermer's and she would love that ....Count me in...

I've never heard of these for adults. I remember children having them many years ago though. What a great idea. Were you thinking we would each do one or as a group do it? Who would the go to? Just want more information, I don't mean to be a pain.

I figured as a group if one of you wants to give to someone you know needs it we can do that or I am going to do a search for a Alzheimer's site that might have somewhere specific to donate it to.

Yes i must admit it is great!!!! Abonda lost her power since 8 this morning,not having a good day,lots of trees down,fence,BIG stuff but her family is safe!!!!

Ok Crafty,
Here is a sneak peak at your quilt. I took your advise and used the darker green in dottys border for the primary and used the lighter green in her border for the secondary borders. But the piece de resistance is the corner stones, very elegant tulips in all the colors in your centers. I really hope you like it.

The good news she is safe the bad news NO Electric for 1 week. so no air-cond,no t.v no computer!!!!! No showers,no food,her fence fell down around her pool,her roof partly fell off tree in yard fell her cabanna flew away. she is not a happy camper!!!
