Lovely quilt, great idea

That is such a great idea, love your baby quilt, and the pillowcase too.

The Amish around here do that. You'lll see a casserole dish (glass) wrapped in a set of towels and tied with a ribbon. Never buy wrapping paper again.

Great idea with the pillowcase! I also hate the waste of wrapping paper and I make drawstring bags to "wrap" my gifts.

Lovely quilt &what a terrific idea, so useful & creative.

Very pretty and a great idea. I have never liked buying expensive wrapping paper and don't like the simplicity of gift bags. I use receiving blankets for baby gifts and make "bows" out of the little snuggy socks. For wedding presents I use a set of nuetral towels, using the wash cloths as bows. Kitchen gift get dish towels and dish cloths. It is like giving 2 gifts in one and everyone enjoys getting them.

Great idea - I usually wrap my large baby gifts in receiving blankets put together with diaper pins :)

Oh they are lovely!!!! That's how I've been "wrapping" for the past few years. It's great earth friendly and love making pillow cases!

What a great idea! I would much rather have a new pillowcase than try to save the paper and put it in a drawer. Used wrapping paper is always so crumbled and the bit of tape that always seems to be left invariably winds up right on top of the package.... thanks for sharing this idea!!!

They both look very pretty and that is a wonderful idea!
