Sasha got home and I showed him and he said 'ah, cool' and he was farting around with it. I was like, 'uh, you know that's for Alex, right?' haha! |

It's really hard to explain how to sew the inside part. You have to kind of match up the seams with your fingers through the center of the cube, and then reach in through the hole left over from when you flipped the whole thing right side out, snake your arm through and grab the two parts you want to sew together with your fingers, and pull it out through the hole that's for turing it right side out again. So each time you make an inside seam, the empty cube will be half inside out... God, that's really hard to explain, ha ha! |
Find the right stuffing and that would make a neat foot stool.

Hi Mel,
nice cube! Not sure if this applies to the cube, but I watched a program for making pillows that they use one layer of batting on the backside of the fabric. Supposedly that smoothes out the lumpies from the filler material. |

Looks like it would make a nice toy for your new little one!!!!!!!! Years ago I saw a baby rattler made of fabric with the little "rattler" well inside of all the stuffing. Maybe an idea you would like to work on.

Looks like a very fun toy!
