the top, front was so busy that I knew what ever I sewed on it.... it would not show. However with the back being solid blue and my thread being white..I had a blank canvas. This is a quilt that will be donated to an organization that gives the quilts to our soldiers.

I quilted it backwards so that you could read it on the back. I wouldn't want to try and quilt this from the back because of the borders..... that would be to hard.
