This thread was referenced in another thread. It is so hard for me to believe that this quilt was ever considered an "ugly quilt." I may just have to put that block on my "list." So every quilt has a purpose. It was there as you continued on to other projects. I'm so happy you went back to it and saw it through. It's a beautiful quilt.

Did you see the photo of where I had it just the embroidered block alternating with a plain white block? It was on page 2 of this exchange. I love this pattern and it's fast and easy to do and the stars are NOT a challenge at all as we don't make the stars, they just happen as we put the squares and then the rows together.
