Our guild brings in a national teacher every other year when we don't do a quilt show. This year, we have Paula Nadelstern for two days of classes and a lecture for the program at guild meeting. Upon her flight arrival, our board took her out to dinner. A good time was had by all. Paula is second from right.

Her name means "Needle Star" in German. Appropriate, don't you think?

Has she shared how she makes all her extraordinary quilts at the kitchen table on her featherweight? Apartments are expensive in New York, and space is at a premium.
