Paul's quilt
2 Attachment(s)
Some of you may remember Tony, FIL's quilt. When we went shopping for fabric, my hubby Paul found some flannel fabric of bicycles. He rides 20 miles 3 times a week. So I made this for him using the blue and white flannel left over from Tony's quilt. Jo-Anne's was having a fabulous sale on flannel that weekend, so I just purchased what was on the bolt. It is a disappearing 4 patch, with 1 1/4 cuts, one inch was too small for flannel, I just could not get those corners to match consistently. Unlike Tony's, I did add the batting, machine pieced and machine quilted. Pieced back. Not finished, still needs a label but I can't figure out what I want it to say, but I didn't finish the binding on that corner so I wouldn't forget.

Great quilt! Love how you pieced the back.
That is a really cool quilt. I like everything about it!
Great quilt. I had similar thought about the cut. Next time I do a disappearing 4 patch, I plan to use 10 inch squares and 2 inch cuts.
I like it! I'm intrigued with the disappearing 4 patch and the disappearing 9 patch. They come out looking so complicated!
It will be loved by him, I'm sure!
