WHOA! That is just amazing. Are you about cross-eyed now? I sure would be. I love paper piecing but have never attempted anything so detailed. Beautiful Quilt!
TFS!

Oh my stars that's stunning. I can see why you said it'd so difficult , but you did it!!!!!!

mmonohon 01-27-2012 09:32 PM

That looks fantastic. You did a great job and the colors are perfect.

sewbeadit 01-27-2012 10:31 PM

Yep, this is an OMG if I ever saw one. It is beautiful. How long did it take?

Yarn or Fabric 01-28-2012 04:08 AM

I had bought a tree skirt version of that pattern - or at least it looks like that pattern. I have yet to make it. It is on my to do list though - one of these days.
It was called the Golden Ratio tree skirt. I didn't see it on the quiltcampus website although the spidron is. That's also on my to do list.

Yours is gorgeous!!
Thanks for the reminder lol. My quilt cup runneth over lol

A couple of months off and on. But you couldn't let it lay too long or you had to find yourself all over again. Fustration sometimes put things on hold.

KimS 01-28-2012 06:09 PM

Wow!! That's absolutely stunning!! :)

lfstamper 01-28-2012 06:12 PM

This looks so complex. Beautiful job!

This is a work of art! What patience!

Thanks for the link to equilt patterns. They're great. I immediately bought 2 of them since I love paper piecing. I'm going to start the "tumbling blocks" paper pieced on first.

Grinster 01-29-2012 10:29 AM

This is beautiful!

probles 01-29-2012 04:20 PM

My hat is off to you. That is truly beautiful and way more difficult than I would ever attempt. Do not give it away. Whenever you are discouraged, you can look at it and say I can do anything. Good job.

#1piecemaker 01-29-2012 04:22 PM

Had to look at it again! It is still a super job!

dellareya 01-29-2012 04:36 PM

What a beautiful job you did on this. I can't imagine how hard it was to keep track of the colors. Hats off to you. Well done.

Vivian Ketron 01-29-2012 05:11 PM

Wow! Gorgeous. I just can't get into paper piecing. I have done a little but its not my favorite way to piece.

rebeccalr 01-29-2012 05:25 PM

Love it! Maybe one day I'll feel confident enough with paper piecing to do one like that.

Rina 01-30-2012 06:58 AM
