I made this quilt for my Grandaughter Payton. Her mommy is a fit of a fashion diva and had to have EVERYTHING match.... I dont have pics but I ended up buing like 100 yards of coordinating fabric. the crib sheets, the bumper pad, the mobile, the crib quilt, the dust ruffle, the curtains, the rocker, the childs rocker, the foot stool, matched... I mean everything... They tried 7 yrs for this baby and so I tried my darnest to make everything to match just the way mommy ( my daughter)wanted....
NOOOOOOOO...... my kids aren't spoiled!! sigh......LOL |

Well, your fashion diva daughter has great taste. Love the colors and the quilt. Originally thought "oh, what an easy pattern to make", then I saw all those prairie points. Beautiful. Hope your daughter takes pictures of the rest of the room and you are able to share pictures of all the coordinated pieces and also of the star of the room - - Payton.

oh I'd do praire points any day over a ruffle ( which was requested... I hate ruffling!)

That was a lot of sewing for a cute little grandaughter!! She is a doll.
Our son and dil are having their first baby in June after 7 1/2 years of marriage. We have only 2 other grandchildren so we are pretty proud to be grandparents again. This one is going to be a boy (or so the dr. says)! |
How incredibly wonderful.
