Periwinkle for my nephew
 

This is my periwinkle quilt using the template from MSQCo. and a "Rockets and Robots" charm pack. The backing is minky and the quilting was done on my Babylock Crown Jewel with QBOT using an Anne Bright design. I LOVE this quilt! :) I kinda want to keep it, but I think my nephew will really enjoy it so I will give it to him.

Great kids quilt. Love the outer space quilting pattern.

I did add batting along with the minky. I just thought it would give it more texture/loft and add warmth for our cold winters. Tips for quilting with minky...just be sure not to stretch it. It was actually pretty easy to work with on my LA, I just had to make sure not to tighten it too much and stretch it. Come to think of it I stitched down my sides b-4 tightening up my quilt on the frame and that really helped me keep from stretching it.
