Personalized Stocking--Cork Material
1 Attachment(s)
Last month at the guild meeting, we held vendors night. The one shop showcased cork material so I chose one and incorporated it into this design with the name being cork as well as the heel and toe. I also chose fat quarters from the dark brown and it all coordinated with the "woodsy" feel of the fabric. A little busy, but lent itself to button embellishments with the stars in his name and atop of appliqued Christmas tree. Also used Swavorski crystals on the tree. Merry Christmas everyone. Merry Christmas to you, too! You made a fun stocking using the cork. Thank you for showing the great photo.

Very cute. I'm intrigued by all of the cork fabrics that I've been seeing online. I will probably pick some up at the Road to California show in January. I want to touch it before I buy it.

Cork is interesting. |
Very nice stocking. Was the cork easy to work with?

I don't think it is too busy at all. You did a great job incorporating everything into a cohesive stocking. The recipient will enjoy it.

Really pretty. Cork is easy to sew. I like the feel of it.
