Yuck! Have to work tomarrow so will check in later tomarrow afternoon.

I know just what you mean about being nervous   And we do tend to be our own worst critics. I know whatever you do will be great though.
We have had rain for the last 3 days and nights with high winds also, if this had been snow , I would have been buried :D
Can't wait to see your round!!! :D

Well, sounds like you have been having fun!! Nothing like re-arranging your sewing room to make you smile! Is it all going to fit on those new shelves   Can't wait to see your blocks put together, and on the center!!

We have a little over 2 weeks now   I don't know where the time has gone :D

Janstar 11-13-2009 05:59 PM

It accually did snow today but not much stuck thank goodness! I'm getting so anxious for Dec. 1st and it's awful to wish your life away like that!! Can't wait to see what Chrys is doing to my little house! I'm like a little kid here!! Working on more DJ blocks and the Downey quilts for kids tomarrow. That's the only good thing about cold weather. I can stay indoors and quilt and not feel quilty.

Chrys 11-16-2009 09:35 AM

:) I finished your house center yesterday! :) I really hope you like it!

And now, taa-daa, here is the little bear. I've been watching him, asking him for advice, and he finally whispered to me. Here is my creation:

Well, ChewBoo, here's your round from me!

Can I ask a question? If I understand this round robin thing correctly, everyone in the group makes a center then it is sent to the next person to make a border around it. Are the sizes of the borders predetermined or does every one do their own thing? What size is it when the original person gets theirs back

Ninnie 11-17-2009 03:32 PM

The center can be as small as 12" by 12" all the way up to 24" by 24" being the largest it can be. There are 5 rounds they are
1. 3"
2. 5"
3. 6"
4. 7"
5. 8"

The size of your original center determines the size it will be when it comes back home! :D :D
Glad you are following along. Hope you join in next year, it is so much fun, and we all would love to have you. :D

I hope I have this correct, if not someone will correct me

Janstar 11-17-2009 04:53 PM

Great job Sara! Now it's my turn and I hope the bear talks to me too!

pennyswings 11-17-2009 06:12 PM

Really great Sara. I love how you pulled the blocks down into the border like a reflection.

kwhite 11-18-2009 07:47 PM
