We went to the grand opening of Red Stick Quilt Shop in Baton Rouge today. Here's a pic of me with two friends that went with me. As you can see, there's plenty of eye candy here. I'm the one on the left (in purple). By the way, they were giving out really nice prizes today. When I checked out, I picked a slip of paper out of a bucket. The number on the paper slip determined which prize I got. I got a charm pack, a tape measure, some quilting pins, lollipops, and some starlite mints. The two friends in the picture didn't do so well. They both got tape measures. My other friend (the one you don't see because she took the pic) got a prize similar to mine, only she got fat quarters, a 1/4" measuring stick, and a pattern.

Sweet! Been years since going through Baton Rouge. My mama has cousins there. Also in Franklinton and Bogalusa, LA. :)
