Pick up stick quilt top
3 Attachment(s)
This is the starting of my scrappy pick-up quilt top. I started late afternoon day before yesterday. It's 13 blocks across by 17 down, I still need to make 60 more squares, but have 5 row's put together, love how the horse turned out. Thanks for looking.

Good start.

What is your trick for sewing that strip done the middle? I just can't figure out how you got that horse block done so perfectly. A Christmas one would be really neat, too. I don't think I've ever seen this kind of quilt before. Thanks for posting it!
That is real progress. Good job.
A great way to tie in all the different kinds of fabric. Like it.
Like tis variation and the use of left overs.
Thank you, you cut the 5" block in half and add a 1" by 5" strip.
