I also love the Kansas Troubles fabric lines. To me the colors can be muted or vibrant & a lot depends on the pattern & colors used in the quilt. I like your quilt. I can see it covering a picnic table.

I like the idea of hiding ketchup and mustard!! I personally feel they are very warm/rich feeling. Besides, he is a man and what do men know about colors!!

As far enlarging...the pattern blocks were A/B/A/B--I ended it with A-so I made another column of blocks. Then I put on the narrow cranberry border, more squares, and the wide border.

The quilt ended up being 72 x 72.
