You are all so welcome! I just love the ladies in this guild. They are well traveled and really interesting to talk to.
The picture of the three pic from the featured quilter is her grandmother. The doilies and laces were made by her hands. What a sweet tribute, huh? What I didn't do very well was to take some close ups of the amazing quilting and bead work. A few of these had them just encrusted onto them by the millions! It was jaw dropping to see in person. There were about 30 art jackets there too, many with matching purses. I will show a couple of them to you now. I hope I am not being too pigish with these pics... LOL! But, I wanted to show an art quilt called Quilter's margerita with her blender on her head and the beadwork close up too. |
