First, a question--are there videos showing how to oil and lubricate the machine and how to load the bobbin into the bobbin case?

I am no expert, but I would say you definitely got a good deal. I believe you can download a service manual online for free. That is how I got one for my FW.

Looks good to me. I have one as well. The 8 cent bias trim is a kick - as well as the others. You better believe they are old!

It was a great deal. I have had a few with chips like that on the bed. I took model paint and filled the chips in. It makes them almost un-noticeable. At least they are less noticeable. Enjoy!! I am sue you will love it.

If you google Featherweight dating you can find out the year it was manufactured by the serial number. I think you got a great deal, you're gonna love that little baby if you go to classes sewing groups.
